What's coming in Orion 8.1
We are actively working on a minor release, to be called Orion 8.1. We expect this release to be available in the first half of this year.Some of what we are planning for 8.1:
1 Support for Windows 2003, x64 Editions
2 Enhancements to database maintenance performance, especially for very large databases
3 Improvements to and fixes for the Custom MIB pollers, including the ability export Custom MIBs
4 Improvements to and fixes for the Advanced Alert Engine
This list highlights the areas of focus for this release. We will also include a number of bug fixes that will generally enhance the quality of the product. Note that 8.1 will not be released until we are confident that the add-on modules and additional components will work with the new version.
